Pre-Journey Path (Micro-dosing)

Your Journey Starts Here 

A wise teacher told me that all change starts with awareness and that 80% of change comes from that awareness—being aware that you are stuck, feeling unfulfilled and wanting your life and state of being to be different.

Pause for a moment to acknowledge and honor the huge step you have already made in your awareness that you are wanting more. It takes tremendous courage to be here.

Awareness is 80% of change.

The remaining 20% of change actually being realized is the hard inner work: the part where you are not just willing, but able to look inward to break old patterns and behaviors; and make new conscious choices that support your growth and evolution and a new way of being and living.

Whether you want more joy, creativity, inner peace; less anxiety and fear or all of the above, you may need support in getting there. I often say to clients, “If you knew how to get there on your own, you would already be there, right?”

It takes conscious, intentional practice to deepen your awareness and create new, healthy patterns and behavior. This course supports and guides you in building that awareness and prepares you to go on a deeper healing journey with sacred medicine (if you choose to).

A deeper journey can support you in smoothing the ingrained grooves of old patterns and limiting beliefs; seeing yourself and your story with new awareness and perspective, and deeply feeling what needs to be accepted, healed and emotionally integrated. You emerge different, more of who you truly want to be.

This pre-journey path supports you in having an optimal experience during that journey and more fully receiving the benefits, so you can live into your intention, into what you most want.

My co-facilitator for group journeys, a psychotherapist, shares that everything is relational. How you relate to the world and to yourself is how you will relate to a journey with this sacred medicine, so we’re going to work on that together.

What I see in clients who can’t let go and trust or receive, is that their relationship to Self (in the form of negative self-talk and limiting beliefs), Control and Expectations is limiting them; and their relationship to Feeling and Inner Knowing is disconnected. 

Building awareness of your relationship to each is critical to opening more fully to any experience; changing your mind, perspective or behavior; and ultimately transforming your life and inner state of being.

This pre-journey path supports you in your process of self-inquiry and self-awareness. Adding a Micro-dosing Practice enhances and deepens that awareness and comes with its own benefits.

Micro-dosing Practice

Following a micro-dosing protocol for two to four weeks (or longer if you are weaning off medication) before your journey will allow you to

  • feel supported during your pre-session work
  • have more clarity of thought and perspective
  • receive the mood enhancing benefits of psilocybin
  • give you distance from and space to respond to triggers
  • experience less anxiety (and be able to work with it when it arises)
  • reduce inflammation and feel less physical pain
  • be supported if you are weaning off anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medication and sleep aids.

NOTE: A micro-dose product is not included in the program cost. A Micro-dosing Protocol video and guide will support you in choosing a protocol to enhance, deepen and expand your practice while you are exploring your inner world.

Each day of your practice guides you with a teaching video and questions for self-reflection, the answers to which you can write in a journal or record on voice memo or however you wish to capture your inner thoughts. As you reflect on the questions, accept where you are and be gentle with yourself. My intention is that it be a judgment-free practice.

The Music Playlists on Spotify were created to support a particular self-reflection practice or whenever you wish. The music may nurture and support you or it may be unfamiliar and even make you uncomfortable. If the latter, there’s a message in there for you. Sitting with discomfort is part of the practice.

You will also be introduced to two supportive practices–the Inner Peace Process and Medicine Breathwork Practice created by expert facilitators that will support you in building self awareness, going inwards and sitting with your feelings safely, which you can add to your practice every day or as needed.
